Florida Man Won $5 Million From Scratch Off Ticket 

According to Florida Lottery officials, a Tallahassee man is now $5 million richer after winning the top prize in a Scratch-Off game.

Kevin Heald, 61, of Mount Dora, Florida, won the top prize in the $5 MONOPOLY DOUBLER Scratch-Off game

Heald bought his winning ticket from M8M Investments LLC in Mount Dora, which is situated at 6550 North Orange Blossom Trail.

The store that sold the winning Scratch-Off ticket will be awarded a bonus commission of $10,000 because of their success.

The $20 MONOPOLY DOUBLER Scratch-Off game debuted on July 4, 2022, with over $132 million in cash prizes, including twelve $1 million top prizes!

The scratch-off game offers $132 million in cash rewards, including 12 $1 million wins, according to the Lottery.

According to the lottery, the winner elected to accept his prize in the form of a one-time, lump-sum payment of over $4 million.

The Florida Lottery says scratch-off games produced $1.3 billion for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund in 2020-2021.

The $20 scratch-off game GOLD RUSH LIMITED premiered in September 2021 with 32 top prizes of $5 million and 100 prizes of $1 million. The Florida Lottery said in a news release.
